COVID-19 Update

Our customers, colleagues and communities are at the heart of everything we do.

With the newly developing COVID-19 situation we are following government advice and working with our dealer network to take the appropriate actions to maintain the health and safety of our customers and staff. The information you will find on this page reflects the measures that SEAT New Zealand and our dealership network will take as a result of Alert Levels in New Zealand.

 

Authorised SEAT Service Centres

Level 2:
Authorised Service Centres are fully operational for Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections, Servicing and Repairs. We will continue to offer these services contactless if you prefer. Please ask about these options when booking with your local dealership. 

Level 3:
Authorised Service Centres are operational and can offer contactless Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections, Servicing and Repairs. For everyone’s safety and convenience, if you need vehicle servicing or repairs, please check your local dealer’s service availability by telephone or visit their website.

Level 4:

Authorised Service Centres are closed except for urgent repairs to essential service vehicles (list of essential services as defined by the Ministry of Transport can be found here). Dealership staff will remain available to talk to you about your vehicle requirements.

SEAT Store & Retail Agents

Level 2: 
Our dealerships are fully operational, we are upholding strict Government guidelines including social distancing, split shifts in staffing, limited numbers within a Dealership at one time, facilitation of strict hygiene practices, and contact tracing for all those entering a Dealership. If you prefer not to visit in person, contactless test drive options are also available by appointment, with the ability to pick-up and drop-off at your convenience.   

Level 3: 
While our dealerships are not open for customers to visit, we offer contactless test drive options by appointment, with the ability to pick-up and drop-off at your convenience.   

Level 4: 
Dealerships are closed except for urgent repairs to essential service vehicles (list of essential services as defined by the Ministry of Transport can be found here). Dealership staff will remain available to talk to you about your vehicle requirements and take future test drive bookings.

SEAT New Zealand Head Office

Under Alert Level 2, SEAT New Zealand is operational. Our staff will be observing government guidelines with strict distancing and split shifts to limit the number of people in our offices.  

Under Alert Level 3 and 4, SEAT New Zealand is closed until advised it is safe for our staff to return. Our Parts Distribution Centre will continue to provide essential services for emergency parts when required during this time.

- Stricter cleaner and sanitation standards: application of disinfectant at key touchpoints inside the dealership and vehicles
- Digital contact tracing for anyone visiting a dealership
- Applying physical distancing rules to our customers and employees
